The Hall

The Main Hall is a great space that can be used for all sorts of activities and events, including children's parties, fitness classes, social events, and more.

Welcome to the new Arrington Assembly Rooms webpage!

It's a work in progress, but we hope that it will become an easy place for you to find out what events are coming up at the hall, and for you to book yourself in, if you want to use the hall yourself for children's parties, social events, or whatever you'd like to use this wonderful space for.

The Snooker Room

We've recently closed the Snooker Room so that we can arrange some much-needed renovation work.

It's a lovely room with a full-size snooker table that has been used by the snooker club for a long time - and the photos and plaques on the wall are testiment to the great success of the club over the years!

As soon as we can, we'll be opening the snooker room up for the whole village so anyone and everyone will be able to book sessions and benefit from this great resource...

Upstairs at the Hall

On Tuesdays and Wednesday the upstairs is currently home to the Da Vinci Life Skills BE Hub. See here for more information and photos of the amazing space they've created up there!

The first Arrington Assembly Rooms quiz night in recent memory was a roaring success, with six teams battling it out for supremacy!

Congratulations to the winners, but there were no losers because every one had a great time...

Many thanks to everyone for coming along, and for helping tidy up afterwards too!!

And special thanks to Quiz Masters Paula and Sarah, and to Greg and Sharon who helped out on the bar at the last minute!!

Quiz Night draws a crowd!

The trustees are looking for a gang of willing volunteers who would be happy to have their names on a list of helpers who can be called on for pitching in with the organisation of events, delivering leaflets, assisting with work on the snooker room and any other of the many tasks that are involved in keeping the village hall going!

We are a small team of trustees, and it would be great to know that there are others out there in the village who we are able to call on!

We won't assume that you are available for everything, but you would be one of the names we contact when we are looking to get a particular job done.

And anyway, maintaining the hall is not so much a chore as an opportunity for us to get together as a village! Many of the things we do will include tea, biscuits and a chat!

Carol Service at St Nicholas Church

Come together for a traditional service of lessons and carols as we prepare for Christmas, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. A warm welcome to everyone. 🎶
